By placing an order with Maison La Mode, you agree to the following terms for returns and refunds. These policies are designed to ensure transparency and a smooth shopping experience for our customers.
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If, for any reason, you would like to return an item, you have 30 days from the delivery date to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, the item must:
Returns initiated by the customer If you return an item for personal reasons (e.g. wrong size, you do not like the product), you are responsible for the return costs. These depend on the courier service you choose.
Returns due to our error If the item is damaged, faulty, or incorrectly delivered, we will of course cover the return costs. In this case, please contact our support team immediately with photo(s) of the item and your order number.
The cost of return shipping from the United Kingdom depends entirely on the courier service and shipping method you choose (e.g. DHL, DPD, Royal Mail etc.). While some couriers offer rates around £20, the actual costs may vary depending on the service, tracking, insurance, or region. For this reason, we cannot provide a fixed estimate — shipping costs must be determined individually with your chosen provider.
Please note: It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that the package is successfully delivered to our warehouse address. Refunds will only be processed once the returned item has physically arrived at our warehouse and been inspected. Returns without prior authorisation will not be accepted.
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please notify us within 48 hours of receipt. Contact our support team with your order details and photos of the issue so we can resolve it as quickly as possible. Failure to report any damage or issues within 48 hours will result in the order no longer being eligible for a refund.
We make every effort to display the colours of our products as accurately as possible. However, slight differences in colour, shade, or finish between the images on our website and the item you receive are normal. These can occur due to your device's screen settings, the lighting used in product photography, and natural batch-to-batch variation in fabrics, leather, and dyed or printed materials. This kind of variation is especially common with clothing and footwear, and minor colour variation on its own is not considered a fault or defect — it is not eligible for a return, exchange, or refund.
This does not affect your statutory rights, or your right to return an item that is genuinely faulty, damaged, or materially different from its description — for example, the wrong colour entirely rather than a slight variation. If you receive such an item, please contact us at support@MaisonLaMode.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and a photo, and we will resolve it.
We only offer exchanges for items that are damaged, faulty, or incorrect. If you require a different size or colour, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order.

We do not charge restocking fees for returned items.
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you about the status of your refund. If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method. Please allow 5–7 working days for the refund to appear in your account after approval.
The maximum processing time for a refund is 30 days.
Unused discount codes are non-refundable. All discounts must be applied at the time of purchase. Unfortunately, we cannot adjust or apply discounts retrospectively.
If your order qualified for a promotional offer (including bundles, Stack & Save, or buy-more-save-more deals) and you return one or more items, your refund amount may be adjusted. Promotions are recalculated based on the items you keep, not the original order.
